Health and Safety certificate renewal in the workplace? I have a health "and safety at work" certificate and I wonder if I should repeat the test / renewal date?
Do you need to upgrade every year?
Or every 2 years or something?
You must contact the person who issued the certificate to see if, as a first aid certificate, it is time limited.
Most certificates of H & S that I have seen indicate that someone is simply proof of competency on a given date. If individuals feel that their skills are rusting, they tend to volunteer for a restoration or repetition of the same course (with updates in progress, of course).
If you work in a place with a section of HR correct size, they will probably be able to give you more details.
