Texas Name Change

I live in Snyder Tx, and I'm moving to Louisiana on June 14 I want to change my name before I go, but I do not know how long it takes.
I've never been in trouble with the law, or debt of any kind, and I'm from Texas, so I do not think there should be no complications.
