Texas Child Abuse

Texas Child AbusePamela Arnold announces Voyager teacher workshop on child abuse and domestic violence Link

Dallas, TX - A grand master said: "Education is a companion which no misfortune can depress, no crime can destroy, no enemy can alienate, no despotism can enslave ... at home or abroad ... "Education may well be the companion that allows a person to identify and break the link between child abuse and domestic violence.

According to the Office of Health and Social Services Commonwealth of Massachusetts (EOHHS), there is a link between child abuse and domestic violence, "often in the same family." Anyone suspecting child abuse in a home required by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) to the report if the abuse is based on child abuse or child neglect. Although child neglect may be more sensitive than the abuse Children in homes where domestic violence is pervasive, by collapsing the two notions of abuse and neglect of children at a time worthy of review, DFPS, in a sense, also recognizes the link between maltreatment and violence home.

Despite research that supports the link between child abuse and domestic violence, some people remain skeptical whether or uneducated on the matter. "The reason I make this workshop because people do not know that child abuse eventually leads to domestic violence," said Pamela Arnold, an expert on mobile business teachers.

The workshop will be based on research and education. It will focus on educating participants on the various components of child abuse and domestic violence matters: to detect signs of abuse to the reporting of violence.
