Starting A Business In Nevada

Posted on June 1, 2010.
Starting A Business In NevadaMy husband and I are starting a business online in Nevada .... Do I ........?

Do I need a license for retail, business license, fed tax ID, certificate of fictitious name, model workers, even if I do not have employees? I heard that there are benefits because I'm in Nevada with regard to starting a business. I only do business online for the moment well.

. You need a license to operate the city of your business will be located at the same you work outside your home. You do not need a fed tax id, unless your business is incorporated or an LLC, etc.. Workman No model is required if you have no employees. You can use both your social security number for tax purposes. Nevada has the lowest costs for setting up a company. But you do not integrate. Even if you're married, you can always call you a single propriotor. In respect of a fictitious business name, to you. You do not need to get one. If you want your company's professional, to get it.

I recommend you locate and hire a good accountant. They can guide you through all the paper work and make sure you compile with all state and federal laws and regulations.

If you receive checks made out to business, you will need a bank account in the name of the company. According to the Patriot Act, you must prove that you are aiming to open this account. This means a certificate fake name if you operate a sole proprietorship. If you embed your company's charter is as good, just that in this case, you will need to write a resolution of the company to allow you to open an account, and sign it.

If you embed, the company will need an identification number federal tax. (EIN). If you are a sole proprietor, it is optional, your SSN work perfectly.

I do not know what a retail license or a license allows you to do in Nevada. I'm in Pennsylvania, but my servers are in Texas. The servers do the business, not me, so I do not need a license in Pennsylvania, Texas and does not require computers to obtain licenses, so I do not need one there . If I sold something subject to sales tax, I need a permit to collect sales tax, but sales taxes are a real pain to collect, monitor and back, so I'm happy to be exempted from this mess.

In the absence of employees, there is no need of a model worker.
