How can I write something that was originally in the form of the slope in standard form? Choose the best answer!? Slope intercept form: y = 1/4x 2
standard form is Ax + By = C where A is positive and no fractions are involved. So first multiply everything by 4 to get rid of the fraction one quarter:
1x + 4y = 8
Then move to the right 4y adding-4y, and spend more by adding the 8 -8
-8 = 1x - 4y
Then write the opposite: 1x - 4y = -8
You can drop the 1 and just put x - 4y = -8
