What should I sell a car in Georgia? I want to sell my car which is still being paid and I found it almost impossible to find informaiton on the type of forms and documentation that I must complete. I would appreciate specific information.
I currently have it on sale, but if I actually found a buyer, I'd be a stream. It is obvious that a model bill of sale would be necessary, but this meeting all the requirements of the State. Is this the only documentation necessary?
Remember that you speak the Georgia Rocket Science, you will need proof of ownership or "pink slip", you fill out the information on the 'title' have notarized and you are set, the title will give you all information you need to sell your car. Good luck .....
Here's how it always worked for me. you owe on the car. You sell the car with the money from the sale, you pay the balance of the loan and obtain the title indicates that most new buyer or the buyer is obliged to contract loans from banks on the transaction.
Make sure you pay your car with the money the buyer gives you and get the title switched to their name.
That's it.
