Help with resume and cover letter please? I am applying for jobs, but not having much luck ... I'm just a request for general entry-level jobs, what I would call for paying a decent wage (not willing to work for less than $ 10 an hour). Some posts I am or have requested to include receptionist admin assistant / customer service, call center, leasing agent, assistant professor, to name a few. Can someone look over my resume and cover letter and give me some suggestions?

Dear Sir or Madam,
This letter is to express my interest in the Receptionist position listed on CareerBuilder.com. With about five years of experience in customer service, I think I would be the ideal candidate for this position.
My resume that highlights my communication skills and strong client service is attached. During my time in the communication Aria, I have constantly improved my customer service and communication skills, I have received recognition from my superiors for my outstanding performance, including an award for best sales for the month of May 2007 at the University of Minnesota difficult campaign Alumni Association. With the skills I learned in the previous job and my education, I firmly believe that I could help your business succeed.
I am excited by the receptionist and would like to thank you for considering me for this position. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions regarding my experience or qualifications. I would appreciate the opportunity to review my qualifications in more detail and we will contact you in the following weeks.
Respectfully yours,
Jane Somebody
