What is the difference between the FAB and (terms used in the contract of sale of a product)? I do not know - but FOB means "free on board" or "freight on board" and is usually followed by other words such as FOB shipping point or FOB destination. These "magic words" specify who should pay for Freight and chooses the shipping method. Legally, they determine if the title is (which is important in determining who is at risk if lost). See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_On_Boa. .. for more details.
