Old Testament is just as inspired as the New Testament. But many still do not know why Ot? Most Christians like to pick the verses of the Bible to follow and ignore. The Old Testament lays the foundation for education and events in the New Testament. First, the Old Testament is of great importance for Christians because it is God-breathed (2 Tim. 3.16 to 17). Some Christians ignore the Old Testament and focus on the news, but only those who read the news in light of the old can really know what God says in His Word. The Old Testament gives a shadow before the blessing found in the New Testament (Hebrews 10: 1).
The Old Testament is very important because the Tale of the Old Testament, the early Earth and the human race, it records God relations with men in the past, Give Evidence in support of our faith, it shows evidence that God exists and there is one true God, he shows proof that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and by God, he shows proof of the promise of our Savior Jesus Christ in the New Testament, it shows the fundamental nature and human needs have never changed, a complete picture of Gods plan of salvation is revealed amazing, proper understanding of the Old Testament helps us understand and appreciate the New Testament, it also shows that the nature of God has never changed. Without OT We would not be able to know what pleases and what irritates him, and thus create a better relationship with Him. We also know that the Old Testament that God has always been good and merciful, holy and righteous, condemning evil good and rewarding omniscient and omnipotent, worthy of praise and worship, faithful to his promises, etc. The Old Testament is the Word of God, as the New Testament. God also speaks through the Old Testament. Without the Old Testament, we can not understand why the Messiah had come and Isaiah 53), and we would not have been able to identify Jesus of Nazareth as the Messiah through the many detailed prophecies that were given concerning, for example, his birthplace (Micah 5:2); his manner of death (Psalm 22:1, 7-8, 14-18, Psalm 69:21), resurrection (Psalm 16:10), and many Other details of his ministry (Isaiah 52:19, 9:2).
God said very clearly that the punishment of sin is death, using the flood to destroy all life. However, after the flood, he has promised not to let history repeat itself. Does it mean that man would become sinless God would never need to put his anger on the new man? Gods wrath is not only told OT, it is said, and even NT. (Acts 5:1-10). Throughout the Old Testament, we see the judgments of God and the wrath poured over sin. Similarly, in the New Testament, we see that the wrath of God is always "being revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness" (Romans 1:18). So, clearly, God is not different in the Old Testament than him in the New Testament.
There are many prophecies of the Old Testament that were fulfilled in the life of Jesus Christ. Jesus fulfilling the law does not give us license to sin or reason to ignore the Old Testament. He fulfilled the law by being the ultimate sacrifice, and now the ultimate high priest that our body can be temples. Jesus used the Old Testament to show the disciples that he was the Christ foretold in the Old Testament (John 3:14, Numbers 21: 9). Paul warned those who continue in the old law should continue in all this (Galatians 3:10). In both Testaments, we find everything necessary for eternal life and divine life (2 Timothy 3:15-17). Both OT and NT are inspired by the Holy Spirit (Hebrews 10.15 to 17)
The apostle Peter also confirmed the inspiration of the Old Testament. In 1 Peter. 1.10 to 11, he said:
In regard to salvation, the prophets sought and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come to you: the search now or what.
