New Business Presentation

Posted on June 11, 2010.
New Business PresentationLength of time for a formal presentation to new client?

Could someone who is knowledgeable in this area please advise me the typical length of time to complete a sales presentation to a client for selling new services to their business? This is not a new product in detail, but a contract for a service involved taking several months to implement. Thank you in advance!

Break your presentation into two parts, one is verbal and PowerPoint, the other a helping hand package. Keep the oral presentation of 30 minutes with 15 minutes for questions. Have complete documentation with all the details of the proposal, including your presentation and information on the company. More time than lose the customer.

If this is the first time you are in contact, 10 minutes, if you have chosen as the potential start business, max 45 minutes, but still allow questions

10 min

I knew a group of vendors in the area of the hotel.
They have a unique way to combine musical skits with businesses. You do not know if it will work for your situation.
The hotel remained full - a formal business presentation with a bit of humor -
