was a student at Dominguez Hills 07. I am writing this letter because of urging

desire to return to Dominguez Hills and continue my studies in order to

I obtained my bachelor my life have been full of challenges that have my receipt

my education on hold. When I was eight, my mother was diagnosed with MS

degenerative disease that causes damage to the spinal cord. My father worked

and has been away from home most the day. As the eldest of three brothers and sisters of the responsibility

take care of my mother fell on me and my sister. Simple things that we

all take for granted that my mother was unable to do so. I remember at a young age my shower

mother, taking her to medical appointments, giving daily injections, purchase

grocery shopping and cooking in addition to sport and trying to keep my notes

middle and high school. I always joked that the hospital became our second home

because my

family and I was so often. I was there when my mothers victory and defeats, joys

and tears. In my family education was always important and I was very pleased

learn that I had been accepted into Cal State Dominguez Hills. Unfortunately, my first year

Dominguez Hills was the last year of my life mothers. His health deteriorated further.

I had to juggle work with FedEx, Cal State Dominguez Hills is going and visit my

mother to the hospital. On July 22, 2007, my mother died. I sacrificed

much, but I have no regrets and I have not been broken. I believe that my experiences

has strengthened me as a person and gave me a more peers my age

not. My father was quickly hired two months later. Therefore, I decided to join the

Army National Guard at 08 to better support my brothers and sisters when my father decided to

moved with his wife. I know that for me getting my degree will be difficult because of the

unique challenge of managing a house hold, work and are now trying to return to

school, but I know that these challenges will be overcome because of my strong

faith in God and a hunger for knowledge of conduct and education. I need your help

However. I talked to advisors and I am ready to resume ELM

and all classes at Dominguez Hills, a community college in the winter to raise my GPA. I

also know that I must reapply. I would like to start school this fall, but I know that the school will

begin August 28. Is there a possibility that I might be able to be present to be readmitted

spring if not sooner? Is there more I can do? Thank you for taking time from your busy schedule to
