Journey Through The Old Testament

The pilgrimage is a spiritual journey in a holy place or sanctuary. Any movement or sense of morality is exalted pilgrimage. All the followers of world religions such as Christianity, Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism believe in pilgrimage.

Christen believes a pilgrimage to the invocation of the relationship with the Lord Jesus and through him to God. The pilgrimage is an important part of spiritual life to many Christen. Christen see life as a spiritual journey to God and returns to God through the Lord Jesus. The pilgrim seeks to separate himself from the daily concerns of the world, and spending time with the Lord Jesus in a place linked to his physical existence.

There is a list of sacred places of pilgrimage for baptism. The shrines called the most important are related to the Lord Jesus, the Old Testament and New Testament.

Mary's tomb is there too. Bethlehem to visit the garden, place of birth of Lord Jesus in Nazareth, the Vatican is another important place of pilgrimage by Christen .. visit many places where Jesus lived, especially during the Christian holidays. St Peters Basilica in Rome, Italy, is also the place of pilgrimage.

Believes Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca during the month of Dhu al-Hijjah, and to consider the ultimate act of worship to Allah. Holy places accepted by all Muslims Masjid al Haram in Makkah, Masjid Nabawi in Medina one, and Masjid Al Aqsa in Jerusalem. Holy places accepted by the different sects of Muslims have many different places of pilgrimage

The Hindu also likes to undertake pilgrimages to religious sites on their auspicious day. The Hindu has many places where pilgrims invoke a sense of spirituality in them. More important pilgrimage sites for Hindus are: Allahabad, Haridwar Pushkar, Rishikesh, Somnath, Tirupati, Vaishno Devi, etc., and they are all in India. The four destinations for pilgrims of Badrinath, Dwarka, Puri and Rameshwaram are considered the most sacred and all are in India. It is believed that the trip to these places leads to enlightenment, the liberation of thought from the cycle of rebirth.

The believer of Buddhism feel a sense of spirituality invoked by the pilgrimage to Lumbini: The birthplace of Buddha, Bodh Gaya: the place of Buddha's enlightenment, Sarnath where Buddha gave his first teachings Kusinara and India where the Buddha is death. The believer in Sikhism, where my selfishness originally think pilgrimage to Amritsar in India as the most sacred.

I am based in India and during my youth, I had the opportunity and visited the holiest places of faith much like Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism. My pilgrimage was to prepare something for the physical state of the lords of the respective faiths, without accepting him and his philosophy. Perhaps my pilgrimages were like any traveler in many places. So I remained a virgin and achieved nothing.

For me, the pilgrimage to a sacred place or sanctuary, with the daily concerns of the world and absorbed in thoughts of selfishness, possession or business is a waste of time and wealth. The pilgrimage to a sacred place or shrine without the understanding of the preaching of the deity and the commitment to practice is not going to find something spiritual. The pilgrimage to a sacred place or shrine, the spirit gains honor the inner thought.

Even if a person is a meditation on the teaching of faith God or Allah, Oneness of God, the pilgrims individual selfishness is deeper into the sacred space of pure consciousness and creates a sense of spirituality in him . A true pilgrimage is the practice to accept his deeds and thoughts of reconciliation and engage in thoughts of showing the kind of pleasures with others.
