Can I get a German tourist visa without a letter of employment? I'm actually bought tickets to Germany with a group of friends to go to Oktoberfest. I am a permanent resident us. I recently have been released from the job I will not be able to have an employment letter when I apply for a visa. Is this going to be a major problem? I travel with a group and have return tickets. I have enough money to finance the trip. Please help me, I spent a lot of money for this trip.
Thank you.
You'll need to tell us your nationality which is essential to know if you want a German tourist visa and not where you currently live.
I join a website containing all of the German Ministry countries whose citizens require visas to visit Germany.
Other information such as funding, etc. depends on the individual cases you need to call the local embassy or consulate in Germany.
The fact that you are unemployed at the time could be a ostacle if you have insufficient funds in your bank account, but again there is the German consulate can tell you exactly.
No, of course not.
Go to your stay in Germany, and when you return to the United States, look for another job there.
