Dc Register Of Wills

I am a DC resident is preparing to buy a new car in MD (no car dealerships in DC) that register the car in DC for me. So I know I'm not getting scammed, I'm trying to include all taxes and fees, I will be charged. I looked on the DC DMV website, but it lists a bunch of fees and does not tell you which ones apply to buying a new car. Can someone give me a list of duties and taxes I should expect to pay?

My biggest question: is the sales tax and excise tax in this situation the same?
