Changing To Your Married Name

Posted on July 30, 2010.
Changing To Your Married NameIs there a time limit to change your name after marriage?

I have not changed my name right away when we got married. In fact, he slipped out of my mind for some time. We have been married for two years now. Is there a time limit to change your name to your married name? I live in Nevada, if that makes a difference.

I do not think there is a time limit. I have not done either, and I know you're in it! Do not listen to the other guy! It's a big hassle so I was put off.

I received a "name change kit," which is supposed to assist you through every step. See below.

There is no time limit. You are who u are until u decide if u want to change the law.
But as a husband, I'd wonder why my wife did not do especially if it has been discussed before u got married. So are covered legally uu can do at any time.
But as I said I would like a husband asked if my wife was goin to fulfill a promise made before the marriage. If not, why did she break the promise and what is its future intentions.

You can change your name at any time. Go to your local social security and DMV and bring a copy of your marriage license.

No, it should not be because you can get your name has changed at any time for any reason. You'll just need your marriage license.

So you're not in it ...
