Is incompetence is a lawyer signs the enduring power of attorney forms? We are confident that we recorded the enduring power or attorney forms before the changes last October. I heard on television that it was not valid unless signed by a lawyer. This is not consistent with the view that we had at the time. Is it true?
You do not need a signature lawyers. It must simply be the witness.
You should check with your lawyer.
The changes are not made retrospectively (unless it suits their member fees!)
We will of enduring power of attorney now and understand that "precedent" are and will remain legal forms.
